In order to be able to handle these major operations in an efficient manner, from initial business
case studies through to works implementation, we consolidated our skills both through
targeted recruitments and by continuing staff education programmes. In 2013, two firms
specialising in engineering structures, Quadric and Secoa, joined the Group and contributed
their expertise in project design and complex computations, as well as structure monitoring
and maintenance. Artelia is now recognised as being a leading player, both in transport and
civil engineering. The wide range of projects that we were involved in during 2019 - tram and
metro lines, bus rapid transit systems, cable cars, motorways, highway interchanges, bridges,
tunnels, and more generally all types of urban civil engineering schemes - bears witness to
our dynamism and our know-how in this sector of infrastructure projects in which we provide
a precise understanding of the stakes involved and an interesting multimodal approach.
