In 2003, MOE began a series of The company gradually set up an organisation keeping it geographically close to its clients and
takeovers in the principal cities ensuring an in-depth knowledge of the specific challenges in each region of Denmark. MOE
of Denmark, giving it complete is thus organised into 5 regional divisions (Copenhagen, Zealand, Aarhus, Aalborg, Southern
coverage of the country and ranking Denmark), each offering the company’s complete range of services (building construction,
it as one of Denmark’s top five energy & industrial facilities, infrastructure). It currently achieves 95% of its turnover in
engineering firms. Denmark.
After covering the whole of Denmark, we began to look further afield. In 2009, MOE bought
out Polyplan in Norway, thus creating its first international subsidiary. Based in Oslo and its
outskirts (Asker and Follo), MOE Norway has some 20 employees and operates particularly in
the building construction sector. It is currently taking part in the country’s largest university
construction project, namely the life sciences building (Livsvitenskapsbygget) at the University
of Oslo. It also has leading-edge expertise in swimming-pool technology and boasts a large
portfolio of indoor pool installation projects. The Norwegian school of sport sciences is one of
the many projects in which this expertise has been applied.
For MOE, whose financial strength is based on a robust domestic market, the backing of an
international group represents a unique opportunity to develop its activities beyond its borders.
