Creation
of Cat Hiep solar power plant
(Vietnam)
As soon as the Vietnamese government decided to promote the development of solar power,
particularly via a range of tax incentives, photovoltaic power plant projects began to blossom
throughout the country. The result was impressive, as in little over a year the share of solar

International, which had just bought the project, contacted us late in the day, in June 2018, with
the aim of commissioning the plant scarcely a year later. We rose to the challenge, steering
them towards a German EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) company capable
of meeting the deadline without making any concessions in term of quality. Over the summer,
we worked hand in hand with the French teams so that all the purchase orders were ready by
the end of August. In early September, we mobilised a team of 10 people on site under the local
supervision of a very experienced engineer, Vu Thanh Nam.
