Anticipating clients' needs
and releasing energies
A host of initiatives
Our work is essentially concerned with the act of building, and is consequently a traditional skill,
but in the Artelia Group and the founding companies that preceded it we have always been driven
by the desire to keep one step ahead, to anticipate. Sogreah was born from a hydraulics Laboratory
that helped to pioneer physical and mathematical modelling. Coteba was a precursor of new project
management methods in France. Sogelerg rose to the very pinnacle of civil engineering techniques.
This deep desire to be at the leading edge of change is at the very heart of the Group’s innovation policy,
which lays heavy emphasis on listening to our clients and taking on board society’s expectations.
Artelia has the good fortune to be able to address a very wide range of issues: the great challenges
of urban development and construction, mobility and globalisation, the environment and climate
change, the digital economy, energy, industry… Our teams have been grappling with all these issues
in recent years to provide the most effective and satisfactory answers to the problems they pose.
Artelia has striven to release these energies by offering the teams responsible for projects the means
of applying it, while initiating cross-disciplinary measures across the Group whenever necessary.
The result has been a host of initiatives and advances in all our fields of activity, but also in the way in
which we are organised and have chosen to act as a company.
