Industrial Facilities business
unit, has long used 3D design
techniques involving digital
facilities (E3D [Aveva], Plant
3D [Autodesk], Smartplan
[Intergraph], Catia [Dassault]),
coupled with scanner imaging.
Artelia has also invested heavily
in BIM (Building Information
Modelling), developing original
applications such as BIM 4D,
which associates digital mock-
ups with project management
tools. Efforts are now
concentrating on the Dynamic
