Building a group based on a coming together of equals is a challenging task which
involves each of us reassessing how we do things in every aspect of our work. We have
had to rethink, renegotiate and reorganise the whole mosaic of systems, processes and
agreements that our two founding companies brought with them, to build a consistent
whole compatible with the brand that is Artelia and with the world we live in today.
At the same time it has been a great opportunity to reinvent ourselves. We have done
this while paying heed to each individual and to the history of each company, mindful of
current innovations in the management of human resources, and with the firm intention of
building a common identity and creating an environment in which our people can flourish
by staying ahead of the curve.
How do we grow together with ease and simplicity? This is the pivotal question around
which we have built our HR strategy. We have developed something we have called the
“social contract” - an offering for employees that revolves around three levels of personal
development:
- the collective and entrepreneurial adventure underpinned by the Group’s independence
but also some great operational projects around the world;
- small teams working in close proximity to their clients in complete synergy with a
working environment on a relatable scale;
- personal experience, taking on board the aspirations of each individual wherever they
may work within the Group.
We have translated these principles into goals with the aim of making Artelia a “socially
responsible corporate citizen” which shares the fruits of its work and strives to be
a partner to its employees, by allowing them to grow thanks to a tailored and flexible
organisation of work practices. To support these goals, which constitute Artelia’s current
offering for its employees, we have implemented a whole host of concrete actions and
initiatives such as the Artelia Way, to help capitalise on our skills and promote mobility in
all its forms, while offering open learning possibilities and onboarding processes as well
as mechanisms to support employees through the vicissitudes of life.

Grenoble - France countries in which we work by tailoring our agreements and local processes.
