The Group took part in the enormous project to create the Hail and Ghasha man-made islands,
the aim of which is to exploit Abu Dhabi’s gas fields. In 2019, our teams provided design
and works supervision services for the Hatta pumped-storage scheme in Dubai, one of the
region’s major energy projects. The Group also set up a subsidiary in Riyadh with a view to
developing its activities in Saudi Arabia, a country in which it has worked for many years.
In 2020, having acquired a majority shareholding in Principia, an engineering firm specialising
in offshore infrastructure, the Artelia Group plans to expand its range of activities, especially
in the construction of offshore wind and solar farms.
